Slack is a widely used platform from many businesses for communication, on Wednesday a report came that Slack is stopped working for thousand of users. Users are facing trouble to access the services of slack, which caused major disruptions in work around the world.

What Effect Caused by Outage

An official statement released by slack said, they are looking into the problem and working hard to fix that issues. The issues are creating trouble in sending and receiving messages, loading threads, and using other key features of the Slack, apart from this some features like viewing messages and files, were still working.

By mid-morning some things are getting better for some users but still many users unable to send messages and unable to use some important features.

Slack Fixing Problem

Throughout the day, Slack kept the user informed about the results or condition, they said they are working hard to bring back slack outage with full service including the ability to send messages and load threads they also reassured the people that they will share new information as soon as any update comes, beside all of this some other features, like searching, notifications, and managing workspaces, were not affected by the outage.

Why Slack Outage Happened

Slack has not told anything about what is the actual cause of this outage, they are still working on to fix the problem but it’s not clear when everything will be fully working.

This is not the first time that this type outage happened. A smaller issue happened in January 2025, but Wednesday’s outage was bigger and affected more users.
