If you are a die hard fan of a Pokémon Trading Card game (TGC), in some recent times you have noticed in your area about how hard to find the newest expansion, Scarlet & Violet-Prismatic Evolutions. This time these release become a challenge for collectors and players to grab this.
This time the main reason behind this shortages is high demand and low availability. The Prismatic Evolutions are set to launch on January 17 but many fans are already complaining that they are unable to find the product in the stores
Preorders for Elite Trainer Boxes and booster bundles sold out immediately, and scalpers have made the situation more worse by reselling these items at high prices
Pokémon Company’s Response
Pokémon company has acknowledge about this problem and they stated
“We’re aware that some fans may experience difficulties purchasing certain Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions products at launch due to high demand,” a spokesperson said. “We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing, and we are working to reprint these products at maximum capacity.”
They also said that they are printing more and more cards and make sure the availability as soon as possible, so the fans have to keep eye on restocking of this cards and have to grab it quickly
