Marvel Studios Releases New Teaser Trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World

On Friday, Marvel Studios released the teaser trailer and poster for “Captain America: Brave New World,” starring Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America. Mackie’s character, previously known as The Falcon, officially assumed the Captain America mantle in the finale of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” on Disney+ in 2021.
In this new film, Sam Wilson (Captain America) meets with the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, portrayed by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Following their meeting, Sam becomes embroiled in an international incident and must uncover the details of a sinister global plot before the mastermind behind it plunges the world into chaos.

“Captain America: Brave New World” features a star-studded cast including Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. Directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, the film also has Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth as executive producers.

Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World” is set to premiere in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025.
